Ezekial 47:12 reads: 'And on the banks, on both sides of the river, there will grow all kinds of trees for food. Their leaves will not wither nor their fruit fail, but they will bear fresh fruit every month, because the water for them flows from the sanctuary. Their fruit will be for food, and their leaves for healing.'

As a young child; I would visit my paternal grandmother Rose Kelly Bolden-on various weekends. Upon entering the apartment; she would hand my cousins and I a cup of herbal tea. Uttering, "Here drink this..it's good for you". Now this tea tasted bitter as it had no sugar. Disgruntled at the taste; I would question how she knew that I needed it. She hadn't seen me in two weeks; how could she know what my health condition was? She would look at me and say, "Beveloo drink that tea." My cousins would drink it right away. Born rebel that I was; my strategy was to wait it out. She would certainly forget about the tea? Hmmm; four minutes or four hours later would pass with her still asking if I had drink my tea. In a last ditch effort to satisfy my Scorpion need for control; one more question was in order. Defiantly; I would relent(I know oxymoron),"Okay MeMe(our nickname for grandmother)what is the name of it and what is it for? She would tell me its botanical name and purpose. And after numerous upon numerous times of this back and forth struggle,(largely on my part{she didn't appear to be struggling at all}); I was being educated on the usage of Gods medicinal gift to the human body- Herbs.

Folks there have been numerous times that these life giving herbs have helped family, friends, and strangers alike.
